We want you to be completely happy with your order. This policy explains when you can return items, how refunds work, and what to do if something arrives damaged or goes missing in the post.
1. Your Right to Cancel (Online Orders)
If you are purchasing from us online as a consumer, you have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- You may cancel within 14 days of the day after you — or someone you nominate — receives the goods.
- To cancel, you must notify us in writing (email is fine) within that 14-day window.
- Once we receive your cancellation notice, you then have a further 14 days to return the items to us.

2. Conditions for Returns (Change of Mind)
To qualify for a refund or exchange following a cancellation or change of mind, items must be:
- Unused and unopened
- In their original packaging
- In a condition suitable for resale
If returned goods show signs of use, are not in their original condition, or are missing packaging or components, we may refuse the refund or apply a deduction to reflect any loss in value, where permitted by law.
3. Return Postage & Delivery Charges (Change of Mind)
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us. We recommend using a tracked or signed-for service for your own protection, as you remain responsible for the goods — including any loss or damage — until they are safely received by us.
Where you cancel your full order, we will refund the item price(s) along with the standard outbound delivery charge you paid. Any premium delivery upgrade charges are non-refundable.
4. Faulty or Damaged Items
If something arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, we’ll put it right. Please contact us as soon as possible, and within 24 hours of delivery where possible, and include:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photographs of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and the damaged or faulty item(s)
Where an item is damaged, faulty, or incorrectly sent, we will cover reasonable return postage (or provide a prepaid label where possible) and offer either a replacement or a refund, depending on stock availability and your preference.
We can only accept returns of opened items where the goods are damaged or faulty, or where they were delivered in error.
5. Items Missing from Your Order
If an item is missing from your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number. We will either:
- Send the missing item to you at no extra cost, or
- Refund the missing item if you would prefer, or if it is out of stock
If we sent the wrong item, we may ask you to return it before we dispatch the correct product or issue a refund. In that case, we will cover the cost of return postage.
6. Undelivered Orders / Lost in Transit
If your tracking shows no movement or your parcel has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please get in touch and we will open an investigation with the delivery carrier on your behalf.
Once the carrier investigation is underway, and subject to its outcome, we will arrange a replacement or issue a refund. If a replacement is dispatched, it will be sent via Royal Mail Tracked or a suitable courier at no additional cost to you.
7. Incorrect Delivery Address
Please double-check your delivery details carefully at checkout. If you notice an error, contact us immediately and we will do our best to amend the address before dispatch.
If the order has already been dispatched to the address provided at checkout, any re-delivery will be charged at our standard delivery rate of £4.95, unless the error was ours.

Alcohol may only be purchased by customers aged 18 or over. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to request age verification and to cancel any order where we have reasonable grounds to believe this condition is not satisfied.
Orders, Pricing & Availability
- All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability.
- Prices are shown in GBP and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing or description errors and to cancel and refund affected orders where necessary.
Delivery
Delivery options, estimated costs, and indicative delivery windows are shown at checkout. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our control.

Promotions, Discounts, Vouchers & Multi-Buys
Unless we state otherwise:
- Only one promotional offer, discount code, or ‘money off’ voucher may be used per transaction — whether shopping online, at events, or at any market or pop-up stand.
- Magna Carta Spirits Gift Vouchers may be used as set out in their individual terms.
- Promotions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended at any time, provided this does not affect orders already placed.
Prize Draws
Where we run a prize draw, the following terms apply:
- Promoter: Magna Carta Spirits.
- Open to UK residents aged 18 or over only, unless stated otherwise. Prizes will only be delivered to a UK address.
- Employees of Magna Carta Spirits, and relevant suppliers or partners directly involved in the draw, are not eligible to enter.
- Winners are selected at random from valid entries received before the closing date. We may use a recognised randomisation tool such as Random.org. No unnecessary personal data will be shared with third parties in this process.
- Winners will be contacted using the details provided at the point of entry (email address, social media handle, etc.).
- Winners must claim their prize within 7 days of notification, providing proof of age and sufficient delivery details. If a prize is not claimed within this period, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
- Prizes are as described, non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered unless required by law.
- The winner’s first name and county may be published or shared on request, where legally permitted.
Social Media Competitions
For competitions run via platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X, or TikTok:
- These terms apply in addition to any rules specific to the relevant platform.
- The method of entry and the closing date will be set out in the competition post.
- No purchase is necessary to enter unless stated otherwise.
- Open to UK residents aged 18 or over, unless stated otherwise.
- The winner selection method (random draw or judged) will be described in the competition post.
- Winners will be contacted via the social media platform through which they entered and must respond within 7 days, providing proof of age and delivery details.
- We may announce winners via our social media channels (first name and county only), where legally permitted.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by the relevant social media platform, unless explicitly stated.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any breach of your statutory consumer rights.

We handle all personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Links to both can be found in the footer of our website.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
